Versatile distribution boxes for every requirement
Our product range offers versatile, watertight distribution boxes and motor protection enclosures that are specially designed for a wide range of electrical installations. Manufactured from shock-resistant, halogen-free PS plastic in RAL 7035 color, these enclosures ensure safety and durability. For special applications, the three largest models are also available with a transparent, tinted PC cover with UV protection, which enables easy visual inspection without compromising tightness.
The series includes seven sizes for junction boxes and three sizes for motor protection enclosures. Each size is available in three practical versions to facilitate installation:

Smooth side surfaces: For individual drill holes and special applications.
The enclosures are also equipped with standard socket outlets available.
The socket outlets can be mounted in any combination, which offers a high degree of flexibility, and without a minimum order quantity.

The risk assessment for these distribution boxes focuses on compliance with technical standards, material properties and potential risks during installation and use.
1. fire risk

Rating: Low. The use of halogen-free PS plastic significantly reduces the risk of toxic and corrosive gases being released in the event of fire. Halogens such as chlorine and bromine can turn into hydrochloric acid or hydrobromic acid during combustion, which can damage the respiratory tract and metal components. The plastic used is also impact-resistant, which increases the stability of the enclosure under mechanical stress.

Measures: The product contributes to minimizing consequential fire damage. It is nevertheless important to carry out the installation in accordance with national and international fire safety regulations
2. watertightness and protection class (IP protection)

Rating: Gering. The enclosures are designed as waterproof junction boxes. This means that they offer protection against the ingress of water and dust, which is crucial for electrical installations outdoors or in damp environments.

Measures: The correct installation of the cable glands and the tight closure of the cover are essential to maintain the advertised degree of protection. Incorrect installation can impair the protective function and lead to short circuits or damage.
3. material and UV resistance

Rating: Low to moderate. The base and the opaque cover are made of impact-resistant PS plastic, which is robust.
The transparent cover is made of UV-protected PC, which makes it more resistant to weathering.

Measures: Although the material is robust, the enclosures should not be exposed to extreme, prolonged temperature fluctuations or direct, intense sunlight unless the UV-protected version is used. Regular visual inspection for cracks or discoloration is recommended to ensure the integrity of the enclosures.
