We offer a wide selection of control cabinets and empty enclosures for many applications and in various materials, such as sheet steel, fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), or polycarbonate (PC) for outdoor use, ABS plastic for standard applications,
V2A stainless steel for hygienic applications, or V4A for demanding environmental conditions or coastal use.

Indoor enclosures do not have to be made of stainless steel, but they should be well-built and durable.
In these areas, sheet steel has proven itself as a cost-effective material in many different designs for control cabinets used in machine controls
or control and regulation systems in general, but high-quality ABS plastics are also an option.
Outdoor enclosures - for demanding and long-lasting applications
must be sturdy and corrosion-resistant , and if made of plastic, they must also be resistant to prolonged exposure to sunlight and the elements. Depending on the location, specific requirements may apply; for example, in coastal applications, the enclosures should also be seawater-resistant, which—when selecting stainless steel (V2A)—is no longer sufficient and can quickly become expensive with V4A. High-quality plastic enclosures made of GRP or GRP material represent an interesting and usually a significantly more cost-effective alternative .
These enclosures can also serve as protective housings for electric charging stations against direct weather exposure (storms, hail, rain) or unauthorized access, vandalism, etc.
Polycarbonate is typically used for smaller enclosure designs and is also sturdy, but more brittle during processing than ABS
and not as durable in use as polyester enclosures made of glass-fiber-reinforced plastic.
