Corrugated conduit featuring a new, innovative design made from UV-stabilized polypropylene (PPmod-UV),
intended for use as cable protection for loose-laid individual cables and lines in both outdoor and automotive applications.
This conduit is suitable for retrofitting protection onto installed cables or hoses—including in outdoor settings—such as those used in solar thermal systems, photovoltaics, surface collectors, geothermal probes (cylindrical or basket types), spiral collectors, energy fences, solar absorbers, surface heating systems, and solar supply and return lines.
This protective conduit offers durable UV protection lasting approximately 15–20 years when used in a Central European climate without dynamic loading. (Based on 20 years of practical experience)
This protective conduit is characterized by:
+ an innovative corrugated slit design that significantly reduces the risk of cables falling out of the conduit—even with higher fill levels (recommended max. 80% for standard slits)—while still allowing additional cables to be inserted later
+ temperature resistance up to 135°C
+ suitability as an alternative to wrapping tape for cable harnesses
+ good flexibility
+ high UV resistance
